Chalkidiki

Chalkidiki is one of the most tourist developed areas of Greece. The unique natural beauty of Chalkidiki, will enchant every visitor. Endless beautiful beaches, turquoise waters, woodlands that reach the shoreline and the rich historical and cultural tradition are only some of the reasons you'll want to visit again and again.

Chalkidiki is located in Central Macedonia. It is a very large peninsula, which is washed by the North Aegean Sea. In the southern part of Chalkidiki, are three oblong peninsulas or three feet so called, which are from west to east: the peninsula of Kassandra, the peninsula of Sithonia and the peninsula of Athos. The capital of Chalkidiki is Polygyros.

Kassandra

Kassandra is at the westernmost tip of Halkidiki, close to Thessaloniki. Entering into Kassandra makes quite impression, as it is connected to Halkidiki through the bridge at Nea Potidea, the first village visitors encounter. In fact, the Kassandra peninsula is an island separated from the mainland by the Potidea canal, which offers a spectacular panoramic view, especially at sunset.

Kassandra is the most densely populated of the three peninsulas. In addition to its many kilometers long indented coastline and crystal clear waters, Kassandra offers a vibrant nightlife. Many bars are arrayed along the coastline or in the villages, while the area also features spas, large scale hotel facilities and hosts two major festivals, "Sani" and "Siviris".

The villages that form the peninsula of Kassandra (Nea Potidea, Nea Fokaia, Akti Sani, Afitos, Kallithea, Kryopigi, Polychrono, Hanioti, Pefkohori, Paliouri, Kassandria Siviri, Kassandrino, Fourka, Kalandra, Nea Skioni, Loutra Agia Paraskevi, Agia Friday) are among the most picturesque Greece. They are characterized from the intense vegetation, cobblestone streets and traditional houses. Kassandra is more famous for its magnificent beaches, many of which have green trees, golden sand and azure waters, creating idyllic locations for relaxation.

Sithonia

Sithonia is the middle peninsula of Halkidiki. While on a tour in Sithonia you can admire endless majestic landscapes, picturesque little harbors, wonderful golden beaches, secluded bays next to olive plantations, lovely meadows and deep green forests, peaceful fishers’ villages and also the amazing architecture of houses and churches. Only in Sithonia you can admire glorious beaches with the perfect combination of green and blue as the pine trees meet the waves.
